I spent one day to arrived in Little Jungle Resort, walking for 28 km from the west coast to the east coast.
During this long trip I met three generous people that help me to reach the waterfal and then the hostel. I didn’t ask help, they spontaneously have approuched ask me where I was going and given me a ride for few kilometers.
Thanks to them I saw Waterfall 2 settled 1,5 km near the main road, but immersed in nature, where thai child were bathing.
In the evening (for thai evening start 5\6 pm) I arrived in Little Jungle Resort, Chaweng beach.
Little Jungle Resort is was born almost a years ago. Despite “its young age” has already all the amenities, exept the kithcen which will arrived shortly.
The owner are enchanted people, came from Italy to realize a dream: run a little and peaceful resort in the middle of the noisy Chaweng and they succeeded!
They told me about all the difficulties who they met to built this place, the corruption of thai police, the bribes to pay, the relation with other italian immigrants, the differences between North and South of Thailand, the culture and much more.
Vincent specially knows Thailand very well and he can give you a great amount of suggestions about places to visit. He organize also tours around the Land of Smile and daily tours in Samui.
During all my stay I felt at home, where good chat with good company around a table, as “italian way”. Thanks for the welcoming Little Jungle!
