Welcome in Wat Pho
Bangkok has many temples but Wat Pho has left his mark upon me.
Wat Pho is the “residence” of Reclined Buddha :
This golden statue is 46 metres long:
“He is lying on the right flank, his head resting on a cushion or relying on his right elbow, supporting his head with his hand.”
Immediately the Recicled Buddha is become the best experience in terms of connection with spirit, art and something that I define: human. The sense of intimity is great, despite its size, the Reclining Buddha is lovingly lying, his curves are harmonious, still in formation, as if they were those of a child.
When you enter in a Temple you have to left your shoes outside and kneel without indicating by your toes the image of buddha.
